A2J Tech is looking for a fully remote, part-time LegalServer Consultant to support LegalServer configuration, troubleshooting, implementation, and other technical client work, as well as scaling our LegalServer practice area.
This is a hands-on technical role for someone with strong LegalServer case management system administration and configuration experience who can translate functional requirements into well-designed, maintainable LegalServer solutions. The consultant will work alongside A2J Tech project managers and the LegalServer practice area lead to implement solutions for legal aid and access-to-justice organizations.
Please note that, while this is initially a part-time position, it may become full-time depending on your availability and the growth of A2J Tech’s LegalServer practice area. Approximately 10-24 hours per week initially, with the opportunity for more billable hours when additional projects are secured.
- Work across multiple client LegalServer instances simultaneously, managing configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and implementation work while maintaining clear separation between each organization’s LegalServer environment and requirements.
- Analyze existing LegalServer configurations to understand system architecture, dependencies, and opportunities to simplify, standardize, or improve workflows.
- Work with LegalServer 4 and LegalServer 5 user interfaces and support clients with their organization’s implementation of the new LS5 interface.
- Configure and customize LegalServer processes, profiles, forms, fields, lookups, reports, dashboards, branching logic, and workflows to support intake, eligibility, assignment, case management, and case closing.
- Configure and troubleshoot advanced tools such as Guided Navigation, Workflows, Advanced Grant Filters, and other LegalServer tools.
- Support integrations between LegalServer and external systems by identifying appropriate data sources, mapping fields and data structures, and working with reports, APIs, webhooks, and workflow triggers.
- Document technical requirements, configuration decisions, dependencies, testing results, and implementation steps so that configurations can be understood and maintained by other LegalServer administrators.
- Participate in technical design discussions with the A2J Tech LegalServer practice area lead, A2J Tech project managers, and developers to develop sustainable case management solutions for clients’ LegalServer environments.
- Consult with the Business Process Improvement team on technology and case management system evaluations as part of intake improvement assessments.
- Support the A2J Tech LegalServer practice area lead in scaling the practice area to support more clients, LegalServer implementation work, and access to justice initiatives.
