Lauren is a rising 3L originally from Iowa. She is an AAP leader for first-year Criminal Law and the Vol. 99 Denver Law Review Symposium Editor. Last summer, Lauren interned for Judge Wheeler in the 18th Judicial District of Colorado. This past semester, she took the Law + Innovation Lab course in which her and her teammate created a mediation process assistant app for the Colorado State Court System. Her team was then chosen to present their app at the Georgetown Law's Iron Tech Competition. This academic experience has sparked in her a life-long interest in using legal technology to increase access to justice to marginalized communities. Outside of school, Lauren loves yoga, skiing, and collecting house plants.
